The work was published in “200 Best Illustrators Worlwide 2009/2010” and in “Instyle Magazine”.
Brief: To create over 9 meter long funky/quirky/edgy illustration for a hair dressing salon that would attract its young and energetic urban professionals and also refer to the urban location of the salon (Darlinghurst, Sydney)
Solution: The wall illustration that was created contrasts a slightly surreal city with the relaxing atmosphere of the park. In foreground, there is a figure of a DJ who is mixing music while lying down on the grass. Behind him there is a crowd of young, relaxed people who refer to the customers and atmosphere of the salon.
