Breakfast (landmine, egg, sausage) , 3 dimensional painting, 2008

Materials: oil paint, MDF, steel, wire, plastic, canvas, porcelain, epoxy

Dimensions: 19 x 55 x 55 cm

A comment on the fragility of life where a simple act of having breakfast can suddenly be interrupted by the unexpected. The yolk is a sensor and when touched by the fork it detonates the bomb hidden in the sausage. An autobiographical reference to a few incidents when I was close to dying.
